देश-विदेश के पर्यटकों के लिए आकर्षण का केंद्र रामझूला पुल पर्यटकों की आवाजाही के लिए बंद कर दिया गया है। भारी बारिश की वजह से मुनिकीरेती क्षेत्र में राम झूला पुल की नींव के निकट एक दरार आ गई है।

माना जा रहा है कि गंगा के उफान पर आने की वजह से यह दरार आई है। सुरक्षा की दृष्टि से एसडीएम के निर्देश पर राम झूला पुल पर पर्यटकों के आवाजाही रोक दी गई है। पुलिस ने बैरिकेडिंग कर पर्यटकों को राम झूला पुल पर जाने से रोकना शुरू कर दिया है।


मौसम विभाग ने अगले चौबीस घंटे के लिए सात जिलों में बारिश का येलो अलर्ट जारी किया है। विभाग के मुताबिक राज्य के देहरादून, टिहरी, पौड़ी, नैनीताल, बागेश्वर, चंपावत और पिथौरागढ़ में गरज-चमक के साथ तेज बारिश होने की आशंका है। अन्य जनपदों में हल्की बारिश हो सकती है।

प्रदेश में 323 सड़कें बंद 

प्रदेश में भारी बारिश के चलते विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में भूस्खलन के कारण मलबा आने से 323 सड़कें बंद हैं। इस दौरान एक दिन में मात्र 126 सड़कों को ही खोला जा सका। लोनिवि के प्रमुख अभियंता दीपक कुमार ने बताया कि बंद सड़कों में 12 स्टेट हाईवे, सात मुख्य जिला मार्ग, नौ अन्य जिला मार्ग, 135 ग्रामीण सड़कें और 160 पीएमजीएसवाई की सड़कें शामिल हैं। उन्हाेंने बताया कि एक दिन पहले तक 337 सड़कें बंद थीं, 112 सड़कें बुधवार को बंद हुईं
इस तरह से कुल 449 बंद सड़कों में से बुधवार शाम तक 126 को खोल दिया गया था। जबकि 323 सड़कें अब भी बंद हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि सड़कों को खोलने के काम में 264 जेसीबी मशीनों को लगाया गया था।
